We started the Dorset flock over fifteen years ago. Our flock was started with a few ewes we purchased from Reynolds Stock Farm and Howard Lewis. We used a Lewis ram for several years and have recently purchased two Spilde rams from the Machado family. We had our first lamb crop from those bucks last spring, and we are very pleased with the lambs. We sell several ram lambs every year to commercial producers who have always been pleased with the results. The ewes are excellent mothers and produce lots of milk. The lambs grow and gain very well.
